The Programme Working Groups: Enabling Communities to Lead
The Programme Working Groups (PWG) are a community led teams who guide each of Ubunye's core programme areas, which are, Masiphile, Sinako and Isisekelo. These groups are formed by the members of the village, and are chosen by the community to be the community's representative. There are 11 teams of PWGs, from Lower and upper fish, Fort Brown, Kwandwe and Yendella. These PWG teams gather once a month in their respective villages for a meeting. First Note to the Future: Meet the Stars of our Concert
Meet Imange Hlengisa, a committed and dedicated student who excels in music theory. From day one, her music theory was already as good. Her father, a musician who had taught her a thing or two about music was one of the reasons Imange has been really invested and curious to learn more. First Note to the Future: Meet the Stars of our concert
Meet Lihlumile Basi, the only grade 6 learner who is part of the Khula Nathi Music Programme. On the second week of the programme Lihlumile had asked to join the music classes and he showed so much interest. He has been an amazing student, very helpful.
