Meeting Meliswa from Gates Foundation:
I had a fruitful meeting with Meliswa, she is wonderful, their main work focus is to partner with partners around the world, to tackle big challenges and improve people’s lives. They also have a programme around education, sets young people up for lifelong success. But many children never master the reading and math skills that form the foundation for learning. She continued saying education programs in the United States and around the world help equip students with the knowledge they need to achieve their goals.

Women and girls often face obstacles that make it impossible for them to lead the lives they dream. Gates Foundation has a program about gender equality that focuses on removing those obstacles by expanding access to good health, economic opportunity and dignity because when women and and young women have the power to choose their own destinies, the whole world is better off. My take from the meeting was that all the organisations are doing a great job making sure that young women and young men are given support and skills to equip them, and are also fighting the world pandemic that is HIV and other spreading viruses.
