Day 1 of the conference was really fruitful. I received a lot of information from the presentations, some of the information was just a reminder of what i am already doing as practitioner and some information was new information of which i have taken notes and ready to share with the rest of the practitioners. One of my favourite point that was raised was the fathers being absent in their children's lives, it was said that it can lead the children to drug use. Another point that was said was that as practitioners, we must be role models and do good for upbringing of children as they gain 90% of brains at under 5 years.
