My name is Ahlume Maki from Kwandwe, and I am part of the Ubomi Bonke Programme.
I have learned so much from being part of the programme. I have always been someone who found it difficult to talk about my feelings and emotions. Instead of sharing what I was going through, I would often keep everything to myself.
Through the Ubomi Bonke Programme, I learned the importance of opening up and sharing my thoughts and feelings with people I trust. This has helped me understand that talking about challenges and emotions is not a weakness but a healthy way of taking care of myself.
I look after my mental health by applying what I have learned through the Ubomi Bonke training, staying active, and playing ball with friends. These activities help me stay positive, reduce stress, and maintain a healthy balance in my life.
