Ubunye has a poster presentation accepted for the International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Science, 2025 being held in Kigali, Rwanda. Lukhanyo Namba, 17 years, a learner from Kanana Secondary School in Glenmore is travelling to Kigali to present the poster! She is an HIV Ambassador with the Ubomi Bethu programme. Trainer for that programme, Asanda Gola is going with Lukhanyo. They both present the poster on Tuesday this week (TUPED008). This is the first time both of them have been out of South Africa and the first time presenting at an international conference! Lukhanyo hasn't ever flown before. So she will be keeping an account of this amazing experience here in our Ubunye blog! Watch for the next post!!
